Successful premiere for the IWRM Karlsruhe from 24 to 25 November 2010: Over 400 participants came to the Karlsruhe Convention Centre to find out for themselves about this important topic for the future, Integrated Water Resources Management. A total of 33 countries were represented at the IWRM Karlsruhe 2010. A large number of visitors travelled in particular from Jordan, Israel, Palestine, and Algeria, but also from China, Nigeria and India.
As a result, the conference, along with its accompanying exhibition, was able to establish itself already with the first event as an international platform for information and communication.
Already for the first IWRM Karlsruhe, the advisory committee put together a top-class presentation programme: There were 60 presentations, divided into 15 sessions, in which researchers and experts presented case studies from around the world.
At the accompanying exhibition of the IWRM Karlsruhe 2010, suppliers and service providers from science, research and education presented their current developments in the area of water resources management.
The exhibiting companies also had the chance to introduce themselves by holding presentations in the business forum.
