IWRM Karlsruhe 2012
Interactions of Water with Energy and Materials in Urban Areas and Agriculture
In view of the great local and seasonal variation in availability, quality and demand, the task of water resource management is to optimise water usage, taking the requirements of the society and the economy into account. Water management is just as important today as the provision, treatment and distribution of water.
The IWRM Karlsruhe conference which will be accompanied by an exhibition, aims to bundle the international know-how and hands-on expertise on the topic of Integrated Water Resources Management and to stimulate the exploitation of this knowledge
From 21 - 22 November 2012 IWRM Karlsruhe brings together international researchers, decision makers and users from the water industry and thereby creates the ideal link between science, politics, and practical application.
1. Optimum link between convention and trade exhibition
The conference ticket is valid for admission to the conference and the accompanying trade exhibition. Get into conversation with experts in the field and find out what you need to know about the practical implementation of the information acquired at the convention
2. Networking – Experts meet experts
Use the social events such as the conference dinner, the poster session, and the breaks between the lectures to establish contract with speakers and other international visitors.
3. Karlsruhe – City of Research
Internationally recognised universities and application-oriented institutes and water centres make Karlsruhe the centre of the water industry. But Karlsruhe has more to offer: don’t miss the opportunity to get to know this city and its southern flair.
